The Japanese Political Science Association is pleased to announce a call for applications for presenters to be dispatched by JPSA to Taiwanese Political Science Association (TPSA) Annual Conference, which will be held from November 14–15, 2026, at National Sun Yat-sen University.
Number of Awards: Approx. 4 JPSA members
Funding Details:
For the four selected presenters, the conference registration fee and banquet fee will be waived.
*Please note that all selected presenters are responsible of all other expenses, including airfare and accommodation.

Application Method:
Please submit your application by email with the subject line “Application for JPSA–TPSA Presentation.” to the contact listed at the bottom of this call.
Your application should include:
•English title for presentation
•Abstract (200–300 words in English)
Applications must be received by Friday, September 4, 2026.
Selection Process:
In the event of numerous applications, the JPSA International Exchange Committee will select the presenters to be dispatched by JPSA. As a general rule, priority will be given to applicants with greater need for financial support, such as graduate students and researchers who do not hold full-time academic positions.
Paper Submission:
Selected presenters are, in principle, expected to submit a full paper (deadline tentatively scheduled for late October; there is no word limit). A PowerPoint presentation may be submitted instead of a full paper.
